Outside of work, family time is my priority. My husband and I enjoy hiking with our three children, ages 12, 10, and 8, supporting them in sports, and simply spending quality time together. In addition to family activities, I love baking, staying active, and volunteering within our community.

Patient-Centric Approach
I believe that active listening and empathy are the cornerstones of excellent patient care. By clearly explaining conditions, treatment plans, and potential side effects, I aim to ensure patients feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. My goal is to create a respectful and supportive environment that encourages patients to engage actively in their healthcare journey.
Top Health Tip
Focus on what you can control: nurture a nutritious diet, stay active, get ample rest, and prioritize self-love and respect. Regular check-ups are a key part of maintaining a healthy life.
If you could have dinner with a historical figure, who would it be and why?
I would be honored to dine with Ethel Hedgeman Lyle, the founder of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, in 1908. As a dedicated educator and advocate, she uplifted Black women and championed equality, including providing free medical care during the Great Depression. I’d love to hear about her journey, how she supported Black college students, and to share how her legacy continues today through initiatives like vaccination drives and addressing issues in Black maternal health and mental wellness.
